Journey through three centuries of English song, exploring love, landscape, loss, and travel from Renaissance lute song to twentieth-century masterpieces.

Recital Programme:

Spanning over three centuries, this programme traces the evolution of English song from the expressive intimacy of John Dowland to the rich lyricism of Ralph Vaughan Williams. Settings of poetry by Shakespeare, Housman, Yeats, Rossetti, and Masefield explore love, mortality, nature, memory, and the enduring spirit of the traveller.
