

About:
British Baritone Oliver Davis is known for his versatility across Opera, Oratorio, English Song, German Lied, and Choral repertoire, he is the First Prize recipient of the 'Passaggio Vocal Award 2026'. Oliver read Music at the University of Southampton receiving a First for his performance, and winning the coveted ‘Heather Award’ for his final year performance at the Turner Sims Concert Hall. Oliver is studying the prestigious MA Music Therapy course at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, in addition to voice under the tutelage of Adrian Thompson and piano with the Music Therapist Judith Nockolds.
Oliver enjoys engagements with the Crouch End Festival Chorus and the Lux Aeterna, performing with world class orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Czech Symphony Orchestra, Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Mozart Players; he has subsequently performed with world class soloists including Andrea Bocelli, Hans Zimmer, Dame Emma Kirkby, Sir Bryn Terfel, Masabane Cecilia Rangwanasha and Dame Sarah Connolly. Concert highlights include Verdi's Requiem at the BBC Proms 2024 season, Handel's Messiah with the London Mozart Players, performing with Andrea Bocelli at his 30th Anniversary tour at the O2, and Sir Karl Jenkins The Armed Man for its 25th Anniversary conducted by Sir Karl Jenkins at the Royal Festival Hall.

As a soloist, Oliver has performed major choral works including Handel's Messiah, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Stainer's Crucifixion, Haydn's Creation, and Fauré's Requiem. As a recitalist, he has performed a plethora of English Song, German Lied, and Opera scenes accompanied by distinguished musicians including David Owen Norris, Francesco Izzo, Jack Gonzalez-Harding, and Duncan Honeybourne; who accompanied him during the final round of the John Ireland Prize in 2023. A versatile recording artist, Oliver has been fortunate to record in London's most prestigious recording studios including Abbey Road Studio, AIR Studios and Miloco Studios with the Crouch End Festival Chorus for a variety of feature films and prolific recording artists; Oliver is present on the upcoming recording of Parry and Elgar featuring the world's first recording of Parry’s 'De profundis' and 'God is our hope and strength' to be released by Signum Records in 2026.
Future projects include two performances of Stainer's Crucifixion at St. Mary's Church, Westerham and Christ Church, Kilndown, the world premiere of Robin Haigh TEARFLOODS: Homage to Miyazaki at Cadogan Hall, Sir Karl Jenkins The Armed Man for his UK tour at the Royal Festival Hall, and Beethoven's Ninth Symphony at the Royal Albert Hall with the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Oliver Gooch.
